Character

Character and working qualities

Sunny brings pure fire to her work. She switches on in an instant, works at full intensity and is reluctant to stop on her own even when fatigue would suggest otherwise. Whether working for a ball, on a sleeve, in a bite suit or in muzzle work, she is characterised by strong prey drive, high motivation to work and a distinctly choleric temperament.

In muzzle work she works with determination and confidence, and her behaviour also indicates pronounced protective instincts. She is unaffected by noise or gunfire, and neither height nor depth will stop her from reaching the decoy. Based on her working qualities, we hope she may pass on strong drives, persistence and exceptional willingness to work to her offspring.

At the same time, Sunny shares everyday life with us. She is our daughter’s best friend, travels and hikes with us, and her solid obedience provides a reliable foundation for managing her strong temperament in family life.

On her sire’s side, Sunny carries several influential dogs from Slovak and Czech sport-working lines. Her sire, Brix z Pajatiti, earned an SVV3 title at the Slovak German Shepherd championship. The line also includes dogs such as Fesak Barnero, Extreme Orex Aykmar and Pike del Lupo Nero.

Her dam’s side goes back to traditional Czechoslovak working dogs as well as the hard DDR working lines behind them, with well-known ancestors including Held vom Ritterberg and Ingo von Rüdingen.
